    How TikTok pays creators

TikTok has no flat pay per view. Money comes from a few separate places, and the calculator adds up the three that most creators use:

    • Creator Rewards Program. TikTok pays for qualified views on videos longer than one minute. It replaced the old Creator Fund.
    • Brand deals. Companies pay you to make a sponsored video. For most creators this is the biggest income by far.
    • LIVE gifts. Viewers buy coins and send gifts during your LIVE. You receive diamonds that convert to cash.

It leaves out TikTok Shop affiliate commissions, subscriptions and Series, because they depend on sales and subscriber counts, not views.

How the Creator Rewards Program works

To join you need all of the following:

    • At least 10,000 followers
    • At least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days
    • Age 18 or older, with a personal account in good standing
    • Living in a country where the program runs. These include the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. The list changes, so check Creator tools in the app.

Only qualified views earn money. A view qualifies when it comes from the For You feed, on an original video over one minute long, and is not from paid promotion, fraud or repeat viewing. Creators usually see 50% to 70% of their total views count. The calculator lets you set that share.

TikTok pays a rate per 1,000 qualified views, called RPM. It does not publish the rate, and it varies by video. TikTok says it weighs originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement. Creators most often report $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views. One 2026 benchmark puts the typical rate at about $0.85 in the US, $0.70 in the UK and $0.62 in Germany. The calculator's ranges spread around those figures.

TikTok pay per view: quick table

With 60% of views qualifying and an RPM of $0.40 to $1.00:

Views on 1-minute+ videosQualified viewsCreator Rewards
    100,00060,000$24 – $60
    500,000300,000$120 – $300
    1,000,000600,000$240 – $600
    10,000,0006,000,000$2,400 – $6,000

Videos under one minute earn nothing from Creator Rewards, however many views they get. That is why short viral clips often pay $0.

What a sponsored TikTok is worth

Brands increasingly price sponsored videos by views, not followers, because a TikTok account's views can be anywhere from 15% to 300% of its follower count. The calculator values one sponsored video at $5 to $20 per 1,000 average views, with $10 as the typical figure. So a creator averaging 20,000 views a video is in the $100 to $400 range.

A common follower-based rule of thumb gives a second check: $5 to $25 per 1,000 followers. Niche moves both a lot. Beauty, finance, tech and parenting creators charge more, and usage rights, whitelisting for ads or exclusivity add to the price. Treat the result as a starting point for negotiation.

How LIVE gifts and diamonds convert to money

Viewers buy coins, roughly 1 to 1.5 cents each depending on the pack and where they buy. When they send you a gift, TikTok credits you with diamonds worth roughly half of what the viewer paid. One diamond is commonly valued at about $0.005, so 1,000 diamonds is about $5 and 10,000 diamonds about $50. TikTok does not publish the rate, so check the exact amount in your Balance screen before you withdraw. You must be 18 or older to receive gifts.

    FAQ

How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?

Through the Creator Rewards Program, about $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, and only on videos longer than one minute. Since roughly 60% of views qualify, that works out to about $0.25 to $0.60 per 1,000 total views.

How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?

About $240 to $600 from Creator Rewards if the video is over a minute long and 60% of views qualify. A video under one minute earns nothing from the program. A sponsored video with a million views is usually worth far more, often $5,000 to $20,000.

How many followers do you need to get paid on TikTok?

10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days for the Creator Rewards Program. You can earn from brand deals and LIVE gifts with fewer followers. Creator Rewards and LIVE gifts both require you to be 18 or older.

What is a qualified view on TikTok?

A view of an original video over one minute long, from the For You feed, that is not from paid promotion, fraud or repeat viewing. Only qualified views count toward Creator Rewards earnings.

How much are TikTok diamonds worth?

About $0.005 each, so 1,000 diamonds is roughly $5. You get diamonds worth about half of what viewers paid for the gifts they sent. TikTok does not publish the rate, so check your Balance screen for the exact figure.

How much should I charge for a sponsored TikTok?

A common starting point is $5 to $20 per 1,000 average views per video, or $5 to $25 per 1,000 followers. Charge more for usage rights, ad whitelisting, exclusivity or a high-value niche.

Does the TikTok Creator Fund still exist?

No. TikTok closed the Creator Fund and replaced it with the Creator Rewards Program, which pays more per view but only for videos longer than one minute.
