How to scrape TikTok hashtag videos

A hashtag is a ready-made sample of a trend. Here is how to pull its videos with stats, and comments if you need them.

Short answer

Put the hashtags into TikTok Scraper Pro, set resultsPerPage to the number of videos per hashtag, and add a date range. Add commentsPerPost to collect comments in the same run.

A real use case

A market researcher tracks #booktok for a publisher. Every week they scrape 300 videos posted in the last 7 days plus 20 comments each, and count which book titles come up most.

Step by step

  1. List hashtags without the # sign.
  2. Set videos per hashtag in Videos per hashtag, profile or search.
  3. Add Posted after to keep only recent videos.
  4. Optional: add comments per video.
  5. Run and export.

Input (paste into the JSON tab)

{
  "hashtags": [
    "booktok",
    "booktokbooks"
  ],
  "resultsPerPage": 150,
  "oldestPostDateUnified": "2026-10-17",
  "commentsPerPost": 20
}

What you get back

{
  "caption": "books that made me cry on the train",
  "hashtags": [
    "booktok"
  ],
  "authorUsername": "reads.with.ivy",
  "views": 640000,
  "likes": 51000,
  "comments": 1200,
  "uploadedAt": "2026-10-20T19:40:00Z"
}

Trimmed example. Names and numbers are illustrative; your run returns real data with more fields.

Tips

  • Use leastDiggs (minimum likes) to keep only videos that got traction.
  • Pro also takes profiles, search queries and video URLs in the same run.

What it costs

$2.60 per 1,000 results. 300 videos cost about $0.78, plus comments at the same rate.

Plus a small per-run start fee. Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, enough to test. Check the listing for current pricing.

FAQ

Is there a cheaper option?

If you only need keyword search, TikTok Keyword Video Search is $1 per 1,000 videos.
