How to search and export Threads posts

Threads search works in the app but has no export. Here is how to get posts on any topic in a spreadsheet.

Short answer

Run the Threads Search Scraper with keywords or hashtags. It returns posts with text, likes, replies, reposts, author and date. No Threads or Instagram login.

A real use case

A brand monitors what people say about it on Threads. A daily run searches the brand name and two product names, recent posts only, and sends new posts to Slack.

Step by step

  1. Add keywords or hashtags.
  2. Pick Top or Recent.
  3. Turn on “Only posts that contain the keyword” for mention tracking.
  4. Run, or schedule it daily.

Input (paste into the JSON tab)

{
  "searchQueries": [
    "yourbrand",
    "#yourbrand"
  ],
  "searchMode": "recent",
  "maxPostsPerQuery": 100,
  "requireKeywordInText": true,
  "includeAuthorDetails": true
}

What you get back

{
  "text": "Tried yourbrand's new blender, honestly impressed",
  "authorUsername": "kitchen.kate",
  "authorFollowers": 8400,
  "likes": 214,
  "replies": 18,
  "reposts": 6,
  "createdAt": "2026-10-23T09:12:00Z"
}

Trimmed example. Names and numbers are illustrative; your run returns real data with more fields.

Tips

  • Author details add follower count so you can spot influential mentions.
  • Use postedAfter on scheduled runs to fetch only new posts.

What it costs

$3 per 1,000 posts. 200 posts a day cost about $0.60.

Plus a small per-run start fee. Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, enough to test. Check the listing for current pricing.
