# How to use a scraper MCP server in Claude

An MCP server lets Claude or Cursor run scrapers for you. Ask in plain English, get real data back in the chat.

**Short answer**

Add the ScrapeLads MCP server (`https://scrapelads.com/mcp`) to your client with your Apify token as a Bearer header. Claude then gets three tools: find TikTok creators, find YouTube channel emails and get video transcripts. Full setup is on the [MCP server page](/mcp-server/).

## A real use case

A marketer types “find 20 fitness creators on TikTok with emails, 10k to 100k followers” into Claude. Claude calls the TikTok tool, then writes a personal first line for each creator from their bio.

## Step by step

1. **Create an Apify API token** in Apify Console, Settings, Integrations.
2. **Add the server** to your Claude Desktop or Cursor config.
3. **Restart the client** so it loads the tools.
4. **Ask in plain English**, for example “transcribe these 3 TikToks”.

## Tips

- Your token decides who pays. Runs are billed to your Apify account at the normal per-result price.
- Ask Claude to keep results small at first (“just 5”) to see the shape.

## What it costs

The server is free. Tool calls cost the same as the actors, for example $1 per 1,000 TikTok profiles.

Plus a small per-run start fee. Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, enough to test. Check the listing for current pricing.

Any MCP client that supports remote HTTP servers: Claude Desktop, Cursor and others.

**Is my token stored?**

No. It is passed to Apify for each call and never saved.
