# How to track TikTok video views over time

Paying creators per view, or reporting a campaign? You need the numbers for every video, refreshed daily.

**Short answer**

Put the campaign video URLs into **TikTok Video Metrics** and add an Apify schedule to run it daily. Each run saves views, likes, comments, shares and saves per video, so you can chart growth or settle payouts.

## A real use case

A brand paid 40 creators for one video each, with a bonus over 100k views. A daily run on the 40 URLs feeds a Google Sheet. After 14 days, finance has the exact view count per video for the bonus.

## Step by step

1. **Collect the video URLs** for the campaign.

## Tips

- Keep `scrapedAt` in your sheet. It is your timestamp for each reading.
- Saves and shares predict reach better than likes.
